Learning Objectives
After completing this activity, participants should be able to:
- Discuss the human dynamics in the cath lab
- Utilize new methods for interventional cardiology procedures
- Utilize new types of stents and hemodynamics support devices
- Review the indications and contraindications for cardiac catheterization
- Identify complications in the cath lab and utilize appropriate management techniques for these complications
- Explain the artifacts of pressure management and the application of pressure waveforms to diagnosis
